उत्तर प्रदेश: स्वामी विवेकानन्द युवा सशक्तिकरण के अंतर्गत आज राजधानी लखनऊ स्थित महर्षि यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ इन्फोर्मशन टेक्नोलॉजी में योजना के तहत प्रथम चरण में विभिन्न विषयों के विद्यार्थियों 54 विद्यार्थियों को टैबलेट और स्मार्टफोन बांटें गए। टैबलेट प्राप्त कर छात्र-छात्राओं के चेहरे खिल उठे। विशिष्ट सभा में महर्षि यूनिवर्सिटी के कुलपति प्रो. बीपी सिंह ने डिजिटल क्रांति और डिजिटल सशक्तिकरण की अनिवार्य भूमिका पर जोर देते हुए एक व्यावहारिक स्वागत भाषण दिया।

Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), in a transformative event hosted at its Lucknow Campus successfully organized the "Tablets Distribution" program under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme of UP Govt., on January 28, 2024. In this event, 54 students of various disciplines were distributed tablets under this scheme, in the first phase. The distinguished gathering was marked by the insightful Welcome Address by the Vice-Chancellor of MUIT, Prof. BP Singh emphasizing the imperative role of the digital revolution and digital empowerment. The esteemed guests for the occasion included Mr. H.C. Gupta (Sr. Manager-Systems, UPDESCO), Mr. Naveen Srivastava (Sr. Consultant, UPDESCO), Mr. Hemant Trivedi (Project Coordinator, Digishakti Portal), and Smt. Artika Srivastava (Consultant, UPDESCO). While, Mr. Gupta informed the audience about UPDESCO and its schemes; Mr. Trivedi emphasised on the judicious use of technology for the overall good of individual and the society. The Hon'ble Chancellor of MUIT, Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, also graced the event with his esteemed presence, and appreciated the vision of the event and the digital progress that the nation was building on. The event witnessed the participation of key academic figures, like Deputy Registrar (Shri Girish Chhimwal); Dean Academics- Lucknow Campus (Dr. Neeraj Jain) and Dean Student Welfare (Dr. Sapan Asthana). Deans from various schools within the university, administrative staff, and enthusiastic students also contributed to the vibrant atmosphere. Dr. Vijay Srivastava, serving as the Institute Nodal Officer for the scheme, ensured smooth coordination, while Dr. Rupam Singh efficiently managed the event as the Event Coordinator. The Tablets Distribution event reflects the Govt’s and MUIT's dedication to bridging the digital divide and aligning its educational practices with the broader national agenda of empowering youth through technology.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन और उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के नेतृत्व में यूपी में तकनीकी शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं को टैबलेट और स्मार्टफोन वितरित किए गए। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार का लक्ष्य कि प्रदेश के छात्र-छात्राओं और नौजवानों को तकनीकी और इंटरनेट से जोड़ने का है। जिससे वह विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी अपनी पढ़ाई को जारी रखते हुए अपने बौद्धिक विकास के काम कर सके। इसको लेकर इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया है।

इस कार्यक्रम में डिप्टी रजिस्ट्रार (श्री गिरीश छिमवाल) जैसी प्रमुख अकादमिक हस्तियों की भागीदारी देखी गई; डीन एकेडमिक्स-लखनऊ कैंपस (डॉ. नीरज जैन) और डीन स्टूडेंट वेलफेयर (डॉ. सपन अस्थाना)। विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न स्कूलों के डीन, प्रशासनिक कर्मचारी और उत्साही छात्रों ने भी जीवंत माहौल में योगदान दिया।

योजना के लिए संस्थान के नोडल अधिकारी के रूप में कार्यरत डॉ. विजय श्रीवास्तव ने सुचारू समन्वय सुनिश्चित किया, जबकि डॉ. रूपम सिंह ने इवेंट समन्वयक के रूप में कार्यक्रम का कुशलतापूर्वक प्रबंधन किया।
