Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) — I.T.S Engineering College
The Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell at I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida was a focused, 26-day initiative to equip women with digital marketing, market-research and business-planning skills. Sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), the program combined expert talks, hands-on workshops, fieldwork and project report development.

- Train participants to prepare Pre-Feasibility Reports (PFR/PPR) and detailed project proposals.

Days 1–4: Foundation & Motivation
Sessions on entrepreneurship motivation, MSME schemes and core expectations — led by senior faculty and experts.
Days 5–12: Market Research & Project Preparation
Intensive workshops on market surveys, PPRs, feasibility checks and digital marketing fundamentals (many sessions led by Ritesh Kumar Bhanu).
Days 13–20: Management & Financials
Product planning, working capital, costing, taxation and IPR essentials.
Days 21–26: Industry Exposure & Finalization
Factory visits, industry interactions and final project evaluations; participants finalized PPRs and action plans.
Participants
27 women from diverse educational backgrounds (B.Tech, MBA, M.Sc., B.Pharm, MBBS, etc.) participated. The cohort included participants across general and reserved categories, reflecting inclusive outreach.
Outcomes
- Participants learned practical market survey techniques and digital marketing basics.
- All trainees completed pre-feasibility reports and received feedback to refine their business ideas.
- Better awareness of MSME schemes, bank linkages and legal/financial formalities.
